Coastal knowledge, useful questions and a better-prepared fishing day.
Archers Fishing is an independent fishing-information publication with a focus on Campbell River, Vancouver Island and the British Columbia coast. Our guides help beginners and returning visitors organise an outing, understand the information they need and ask useful questions before travelling.
A familiar coastal design
The look of this edition is reconstructed from a December 2014 Wayback capture of archersfishing.com. We recovered the original logo, ocean background and main photographs and rebuilt the layout for current browsers. Those photographs are historical images from the former site.
The present edition is a fishing-information site. It does not take charter bookings or sell fishing packages. For an outing, confirm current services, facilities, prices and contact details directly with your chosen operator. The former business’s rates, phone numbers, office address and personal biographies are not presented as current offers.
How to use the guides
Start with a manageable question: which water you intend to fish, what the group needs, what an operator supplies or which official source applies. Our original explanations and worked examples turn that question into a practical next step.
Guides use AI assistance and link to primary references. They do not claim personal field testing, professional qualifications or review by the historical charter staff. Examples are illustrative. Official requirements and conditions can change; use live authoritative information and competent advice for the actual outing.
