I've been guiding in Campbell River area since 1987 and have a lifetime of commercial fishing experience on the West Coast. For ten years I ran the fishing program for a private corporate lodge catering to the Canadian oil industry. Since 1999 I have been running Archer's Fishing.

Equipment

Your comfort and safety are a priority for us. We have foul weather clothing and safety gear for children and adults. My cruiser has a heated salon and can seat four inside or four outside. The forward cabin has a toilet and sleeping area. The boat is also equipped with commercial grade electronics. We are fully insured.

For larger groups, my friends help out. They are as a rule the older and most experienced guides in the Campbell River area.

Fishing Style

We use killer commercial techniques, but with light rods. We keep three sets of rods on board, mooching, downrigger and fly rods, as well as halibut tackle. We clean and bag your catch and will arrange custom processing for canning, smoking, vacuum-packing and shipping.
